Ramza Mubarik: Festive occassion for muslims:)

moon was all that vibrantly marked the start

muslims became holy very deep to the heart

early morning rise to begin the fast

before even the sun's shadow do cast

praying and reciting the divine phrases

saving our souls from the fire  blazes

eating nothing abstaining from drink

making the boat of our sins deep sink

bad and evil trapped with the devil

piety and honour comes to highest level

sunset is a signal from heavens to break

eat  the divine bounties which we can take

why not learn the lessons of being patient

and make our inner daemons to go absent

another moon will soon rise marking the end 

lets bow , sacrifice ,pray , be fair and bend

its the sacred aura of ramzan we are blessed with

lets pause celebrating this month for just a myth
